October 27, 1900 Michigan versus Illinois football program; game played at Marshall Field in Chicago. Michigan was a year away from "the point a minute team" but still managed to defeat Illinois 12 to 0 on their way to a 7-2-1 record. The Wolverines were captained by future College Hall of Fame member Neil Snow (who would score five touchdowns in the 1901 Rose Bowl). Langdon Lea of Princeton was Michigan's coach. The 24 page program measures approximately 6 3/4" by 10" and is in excellent condition overall; scored in pen on one of the inner pages. In addition to a number of images the program contains many period ads. Another example, with a detached cover, sold for over $1500 in 2005.
