A classic matchup from the first decade of the NFL; pitting Benny Friedman's Cleveland Bulldogs versus the Ernie Nevers' Duluth Eskimos. The game was played on October 30, 1927 at Cleveland's Luna Park (also known as the Luna Bowl). The bulldogs defeated the Eskimos by a score of 21 to 20. Friedman scored a touchdown and passed for another while Ernie Nevers scored all 20 of the Eskimos' points. In additon to Nevers, the Eskimos had Johnny Blood McNally and Walt Keisling on their roster. The program is a 6" x 9" four page folder showing Friedman on the front, the Bulldogs and Eskimos' rosters on the inside pages, and an ad for the current game and an upcoming game against Red Grange and the New York Yankees on the back page. The program has a couple fold lines and creases but presents incredibly well. Simple, rare and just classic!
