Nice group of vintage baseball wirephotos spanning 1960 to 1964 and featuring the New York Yankees.

The following photos are included:

October 6, 1960 AP Wirephoto titled "Happy Day" featuring Mickey Mantle and Bob Turley following 1960 World Series victory in game 2. Turley was the winning pitcher and Mantle hit two homers. The photo measures 8' x 9".

July 18, 1961 AP Wirephoto titled "Negro Hurler Joins Yanks" featuring Alphonse Downing and Ralph Houk. Downing was the first African American pitcher for the Yankees. The photo measures 6 3/4" x 9 1/4".

August 26, 1961 UPI Telephoto with captioning describing Roger Maris hiting his 51st home run of the season and Tony Kubek hitting his sixth as the Yankees defeated the Athletics 5 to 1. The photo measures 6 3/4" x 9".

April 30, 1962 AP Wirephoto titled "Yankees' Joe Pepitone Made Long Stretch to Pick off Throw by Clete Boyer in First Game" in action against the Senators. The runner is Chuck Cottier. The photo measures 7" x 10".

August 13, 1964 AP Wirephoto titled "Old Pro and Rookie the Winners" featuring Mickey Mantle (wearing an "Oklahoma Skeet Champ" tee shirt) and rookie pitcher Mel Stottlemyre. Mantle hit two homers in the contest against the White Sox while Stottlemyre earned his first major league victory in his debut. The photo measures 8" x 10".
