Although never explicitly stated in the more conservative contemporary Victorian journalism; Frank Hinkey would be the guy that you want to have with you when walking down a dark alley. The J. J. Watt of his time; he was so disruptive on the defensive side of the ball that teams would literally avoid running the ball towards him. A star at Yale when the Bulldogs were a national football powerhouse; Hinkey's aggressive style of play and knack for destroying the other team's interference earned him the nickname "The Disembodied Spirit". One hundred and twenty five years after he hung up his cleats Frank Hinkey still has a a following today (he has a webpage devoted to him), and he is undoubtedly the most noted player from the N302 set. He is one of only three players to be named consensus first team All American four times (1891, 1892, 1893, 1894) and is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame. The offered example is pleasing to the eye and has been graded PSA 2 for corner and border wear.
